Collaboration Agreement

Collaboration agreement between the Regional Ministry of Health, the Castilla-La Mancha Health Service, the National Paraplegic Hospital Foundation for Research and Integration, the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the University of Alcalá for the creation and development of the Castilla-La Mancha Health Research Institute. Signed on July 6, 2022.

  • The purpose of this Agreement is to formalize the agreement for the creation of the Castilla-La Mancha Health Research Institute. (hereinafter IDISCAM) through the assignment of research personnel in the field of hospitals and centers dependent on the SESCAM, the Regional Ministry and the Foundation, as well as teaching and research staff of the UCLM and the UAH, based on Article 88 of Law 14/2007, of July 3, Biomedical Research and in accordance with the regulations of Royal Decree 279/2016, of June 24, on the accreditation of biomedical or health research institutes.
  • IDISCAM is constituted as an “association of research groups” for the joint use of scientific infrastructures and the development of research projects.
  • IDISCAM has no legal personality of its own, and therefore the legal acts necessary to achieve its aims will be adopted by the Fundación del Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos para la Investigación y la Integración, which will act as the management body as it is the legal representative of IDISCAM, without prejudice to the competencies of each of the institutions that sign the agreement.
  • IDISCAM is conceived as a multidisciplinary biomedical research center.Its main objective is to promote, develop, transfer, manage and disseminate research, scientific and technological knowledge, innovation, teaching and training in the field of Biomedicine and Health Sciences in order to contribute to the prevention of disease, the promotion and protection of health, the treatment and rehabilitation of disease and to raise the level of knowledge about the health of the population, as well as to manage the research of the entities that comprise it.
