ADVANCED DESIGN AND PROCESSING OF MATERIALS (DYPAM)
Research support platforms
Objectives and lines of research
– Injection moulding of powders, metallic or ceramic (PIM technology)
– Additive manufacturing by 3D printing of metal and ceramic fused filaments and pellets (3D&FFF and FPF technology)
– Mechanical and microstructural characterisation of advanced materials
– Development of biocompatible ceramic implants using advanced powder metallurgy techniques incorporating 2D nanomaterials, their characterisation and testing
– Advanced processing of IT-SOFC and SOEC device components using CIM and 3D technology for the energy sector in collaboration with CNH2
– Challenges related to the green economy linked to the recovery of agri-food waste;
– Powder metallurgical processing of high-performance alloys for the automotive, aeronautics and biomaterial metal sectors
– Simulation processes and mechanical analysis of materials
