Objectives and lines of research
– To evaluate the quality of life and efficacy of interventions that have an impact on it, in different populations and patients: Intellectual Disability, Patients in renal replacement therapy, People with Mental Health Problems, etc.
– Evaluate evidence-based programs and protocols to improve patient care: Post surgical pain management, Falls, peripheral venous catheter care, wounds.
– Evaluate humanization and patient-centered care strategies and the impact they have on health, perceived quality and patient experience.
– To evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs in primary care, pediatrics, mental health, geriatrics and obstetrics and gynecology.
– Implementation of developmental and family-centered care models in pediatric ICU units.
– To evaluate behavioral models for pain assessment in people with communication problems.
