Objectives and lines of research

– Biopsychosocial approach to pain and other health processes through comprehensive care methods in Physiotherapy such as body and movement awareness and the internal experience of people in relation to their health processes.
– Humanization in physiotherapy care with special emphasis on adherence and motivation in treatment.
– Clinical and neuropsychological profiles in both normally functioning adults and patients with a variety of neurological disorders; assessment, diagnosis and intervention of individuals with cognitive impairment and brain damage.
– Application of technology to health through the use of sensors; communication of health data through the use of wireless network technologies; use of methodologies and systems that improve the security of health data; and application of systems to aid decision making in health.
