The Institute of Mastocytosis Studies of Castilla La Mancha, created in 2007 (CLMast), is the only Reference Center (CSUR) for the diagnosis and monitoring of Mastocytosis, and coordinates the Spanish Network of Mastocytosis. The Spanish Mastocytosis Network (REMA) also has a Reference Center for molecular diagnosis (Cancer Research Center, Salamanca) and both are considered Centers of Excellence by the European Competence Network on Mastocytosis (ECNM).
