Objectives and lines of research
– Conducting health economic evaluations, mainly of the cost-effectiveness and cost-utility analysis type.
– Measurement and assessment of HRQOL (Health-Related Quality of Life) through generic quality of life surveys (SF-36, SF-12 and EQ-5D) or specific surveys for each pathology.
– Analysis of clinical and quality of life outcomes of health interventions and technologies.
– Study of the interchangeability of generic quality of life surveys as an instrument for cost-utility analysis.
– Mapping studies as algorithms for transforming specific quality of life surveys into generic surveys to enable health economic evaluations.
